OREX BRAKE SHOE KITS

The OREX brake shoe assembly is fully automatic welded to the platform/webbing for durability and is also stamped for traceability to know your fitting the genuine OREX brand. The cam & anchor journals have been hardened for improved braking performance and extended service intervals. The edge branded OREX F5011 & F8011 friction materials delivers high levels of friction stability and braking performance across all axles and is rated at 23000lbs.* The OREX heavy duty brake hardware kit has powder coated return springs & electroplated rollers & anchor pins to reduce corrosion. *Compiles with International Standards FMVSS-121, SAE2115, Section 6.

OREX BRAKE DRUMS - Cast

The OREX brake drums are manufactured to OEM specifications to ensure quality is guaranteed when you purchase the OREX product. The high quality casting and machining finish give this brake drum longer service life and is rated at 26000lbs GAWR, resulting in maintaining high braking efficiency, performance & safety. The OREX brake drum carbon content has HT250 quality graded steel which reduces hot spots, brake drag, glazing, warping, noise and hairline cracking, while maintaining stable & consistent braking across all axles. Matched with the OREX brake shoe kit to suit your application will maximise braking efficiency and extended service intervals across your entire fleet.

OREX MANUAL/AUTOMATIC SLACK ADJUSTERS

The OREX range of manual & automatic brake slack adjusters are high quality cast bodies with high precision worm drive mechanisms. The OREX automatic slack adjusters with the latest clutch technology which allows the automatic slack adjuster to accurately read excess shoe-to-drum clearance without over adjustment causing excess lining & drum wear. OREX double seal feature provides protection against moisture, dirt & other elements entering the mechanism causing premature service life. The ASA comes complete with templates, yoke, clevis pins & cotter pins. The OREX ASA also includes full fitting instructions to ensure the ASA is setup correctly the first time.

OREX CAMSHAFTS

The OREX range of brake camshafts to suit trucks & trailer applications are manufactured from high quality carbon steel rod which is then forged & heat treated on both the journals & spline ends of the camshaft. The camshaft is then machined to OE precisions maximising brake force each time the brakes are applied resulting in efficient braking performance.

OREX CAMTUBES

The OREX range of camtubes cover axles like BPW, Hendrickson, KHitch, TMC, Fruehauf, Meritor & York. The accurately machined cam-tubes meet OE specifications and quality controls required by many axle manufacturers worldwide. The cam-tubes fit accurately to the spider housing and camshaft retainers & seals to protect the camshaft.

 

OREX BRAKE CHAMBERS - SPRING BRAKE

The OREX range of brake chambers comply to SAEJ2318 industry standards and are crimped type assembled to protect the consumers safety in all environment of fitting, servicing and in operation. The brake chambers high quality aluminium cast body and powder coated chamber end caps reduced deterioration/contamination and maintains high operational efficiency and safety making OREX the preferred choice when to comes to quality, safety & value.

OREX DISC PAD SET

The OREX range of commercial vehicle disc pads to suit Knorr Bremse, Meritor & Wabco brake calipers are a high quality heavy duty friction material complying with European certification ECE90 R90 compliance. The disc pad backing plate design is a mesh type fixed backing plate for increased shear strength & safety. All OREX disc pad sets come complete with fitting kits for increased performance and service life. The OREX CV3 friction material formulation is also compatible with the disc rotor to reduce excessive disc rotor wear & scoring which is inherent with competitors brands.

OREX DISC ROTOR

The OREX compact range of truck & trailer disc rotors are high quality carbon content and the disc rotors tensile strength and grade of casting is manufactured to BS EN1561 & ISO185 specifications which meets original equipment manufacturers (OEM) and also certified to European ECE, R90 regulations. The OREX disc rotor are edge production marked for traceability and also dynamic balanced to give optimal braking performance. The OREX disc pads are compatible with these disc rotors for extended service life.

 

BLACKTECH AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM

Blacktech air springs are manufactured to original equipment standards and comply with stringent quality controls. The comprehensive range covers trucks & trailer applications and also supply to major axle manufacturers making this product a high quality, high performance air spring.

 

OREX ECOLITE  BRAKE DRUMS - Light Weight

The compact range of OREX ECOLITE, light weight next generation brake drums to suit truck & trailer applications are constructed with a two-piece high carbon content steel shell which is precision formed and knurled together to encapsulate the outer drum. This process called Centrifuge Cast Brake Surface Technology (CCBST) is mounted in a high-speed  centrifugal casting process where molten grey iron is poured into the outer shell to achieve a metallurgical bond which encapsulates and infuses to form the inner braking surface that the brake shoe friction material makes contact. The OREX ECOLITE composite steel shell brake drum is up to 20% lighter* and is engineered to have best-in-class weight ratios and provides high fatigue strength to avoid hairline cracking in service, while the specialised iron offer unexcelled wear resistance. The OREX ECOLITE is rated at 23000lbs Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) which will maximise payloads and reduce operating cost across your entire fleet of vehicles. *Based on standard cast brake drum weighing 48kg.
